BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - FRESH KNEES

Hi Adrian, I had a 3 hour ride on the road bike today and really felt the benefits of yesterdays fit so thank you very much. My knees felt fresh as a daisy when I got off the bike and I experienced no niggles in my left knee at all whilst riding (new cleat position and shimming my left cleat seems to have worked wonders on first impressions). The new saddle height and fore/aft seems to be alot easier on my legs and I genuinely feel alot more balanced on the bike. Hands felt good, shoulders felt good and back felt good. I did experience a bit of neck ache but I sometimes find I don't get this when I ride on my own. I think it is possibly caused by looking up more when riding in a group, and probably not helped by my level of flexibility! It was a relatively easy ride, but as a first off, I felt a good positive improvement! I'm definitely looking forward to getting out on the bike again so thanks again for what you have done. Kind regards Ash

BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - AN EXTRA 20-25 WATTS

Hi Adrian, I hope you are well? Just wanted to give some feedback as you requested following on from my fitting on the 13th June.  As you suggested taking it easy for a couple of weeks, I ‘mistakingly’ ended up doing a 265+ mile week following the fitting (Albeit it at low intensity). The good news is I felt way more fluid on the bike and had no issues despite the mileage with my right hip.  To be honest for the first two weeks after the fit, every time I got on the bike my brain said ‘saddle feels high’ but after 5/10 mins it felt very natural........stable, fluid and powerful (well, for me).  This week I did a ride with 2x25 mins at threshold and found an extra 22/25 watts and more importantly was free of any hip ache. This workout would usually have my hip playing up on the second interval. Result! Also the sensation of initially feeling high has  passed so I’m guessing my brain and body has adapted.  You sir are a genius! I wish I’d got to see you earlier and not spent the past 6

BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE

Adrian, Comfort and Performance Assured – A Successful Outcome  Made a round trip of 330 miles for a road bike fit with Adrian. I chose Cadence Sport because of subscriber recommendations on Bike Radar and I liked what I saw on the Cadence Sport website. My main reason was that I wanted to improve my chances in the Etape du Tour, only one month away, and I had medical investigations, in a delicate gentlemen’s area, scheduled just 12 days before the event. My previous bike fit had been an Apex Performance Bike Fit three years before with no follow up to any of my subsequent changes.  Easy to book the fit session with Adrian took place exactly as shown on the website. A check on experience and motivation first, then measurements and over to the turbo with Zwift on screen to warm up followed by adjustments being made by Adrian over the next 90 mins or so.  I had never been really comfortable with my bike’s front end and was pleased that Adrian saw this as being key to comfortable position

BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - JOY TO RIDE

Dear Adrian, I just. Had to drop you a line following the bike fit you did for me. I truly cannot believe the difference you made. Prior to the fitting I hated riding it but after your kind expertise it now is a complete joy to ride. Thank you once again. Kindest regards Mike

BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - AMAZING

Hi Adrian, Thank you! hope you've had a good weekend and managed to get out in the sunshine. Just wanted to say a huge 'thank you' for my bike fit on Friday.  The difference is amazing.  I went out on the Bianchi for just over 3 hours today and it handles like a dream.  It's absolutely rock solid descending and cornering and seriously quick.  I'm so glad I came to see you as I was ready to give up on it, having thought it was going to end up being an expensive mistake.  I absolutely love it now and can't wait to get back out on it again. Louise

BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - DIFFERENCE UNBELIEVABLE

Hi Adrian, I want to thank you for what you achieved at my Bike Fit last month. I’ve ridden both bikes multiple times since the fit and the difference is unbelievable. Prior to the fit my cycling endurance was driven by my pain threshold but now it is purely fitness and time that determine how far or long I ride. I have no saddle pain at all whilst riding now. I can’t thank you enough for the difference it has made, many, many thanks. Regards, Glynn

BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - HUGE SUCCESS

Hi Adrian Finally some feedback after numerous rides on my Liv Langma and Enigma Etape. Liv Langma.  A very noticeable improvement of my handling, comfort and confidence on the bike. After a 100 mile ride a couple of weeks ago I finished still feeling very fresh and comfortable. Therefore I think we can class that as a huge success! Enigma Etape Not as noticeable a difference as my Liv, but again more comfortable and less twitchy than it was before your adjustments to the bike including the fitting of a slightly longer stem. I’m amazed how such small adjustments can make such a huge difference to the comfort and ride of my bikes and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you. Regards  G

BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - STUNNED BY THE DIFFERENCE

Hi Adrian Just wanted to send a quick thank you for the time you spent with me the other week.  I have genuinely been stunned by the difference the bike fit has made. Over my local hour loop I reckon I'm 2-3 kmph quicker, because I'm spending so much more time on the drops, and a good deal safer, now that I can comfortably look over my shoulders. I'm also now keen to get out a bit more regularly - which is a result I didn't expect. I should have come and seen you years ago. I also appreciated your thoughts on bikes in general and maintaining fitness. As a result I'm reviewing what I really want the next bike to achieve and now brushing my teeth while standing on one leg! Really enjoyed the session and will be back in touch when a new bike is chosen. All the best Jamie

BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - BROKEN LEG

Just a note this guy had broke his leg as a teenager, which had to be re broken as it had healed incorrectly and hadn't realised it had left his leg shorter. Hi Adrian Thanks for doing the bike fit last Thursday - finding out one leg was shorter than the other was probably the most surprising outcome, but the whole experience was excellent. I finally got round to getting a decent ride in on Saturday, only 50k, but I couldn't believe how different (and more enjoyable) the ride was. Unlike previous rides, it was comfortable to ride on the hoods and I spent pretty much the entire ride, in and out of the saddle, with my hands there - result! As we discussed on Thursday, I do think I need to change the bars to compact, the extra padding you put under the hoods helped a lot, but I can see how getting better bars will make the riding experience even better. The changes to the saddle position were also spot on - that moment when I realised that I wasn't continually shuffling around

BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - ANKLE INJURY

Ankle injury "Adrian, thanks for your bike fitting earlier in the season, it has transformed my riding. A debilitating ankle pain that had lasted a year and defied the physio's, has gone. I won our Club hillclimb, third in our 'All rounders' competition, and Clubman of the year!  Thanks Tim"

BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - FOOT AND TOE ISSUES

Hi Adrian, Chris here from Sheffield, i came in to see you the other week about a problem with a pain in my toe that I had had for a while now. After having a better look you cut a hole in my footbeds to try and take the pressure off that area. Anyway just wanted to give you a quick update. The results have been fantastic, I have gone from been in pain for 90% of a ride to been pain free for 90% of the ride, so a huge improvement. I have been able to increase my distance and today was the first day I enjoyed a ride in almost a year. The bike fit is perfect and I had almost forgotten how amazing it is to ride in the peak district. I will take what we did to my insoles to my podiatrist next month and see if we can transfer it across to my regular shoes as well. Il keep you posted on how I get on, but just wanted to say thanks for your help, I know it was an unusual one but I think if you saw anyone else with a similar problem in the future you would be able to help them too. All the be

BIKEFITTING FEEDBACK - WHEN SOMETHING IS RIGHT

Hope you're well. I've finally got round to some bike fit feedback: "With the Dirty Reiver fast approaching and unable to ride for more than three hours comfortably it was time to consult an expert! Post bike fit the improvement was instant; not only pain free riding but much improved bike handling so with some big rides under my belt the day of reckoning soon rolled around. When something isn't right you soon know about it but when something is right you don't notice, it just works. By halfway through the Reiver I was looking at the riders around me; almost all were fidgeting, stretching and obviously not comfortable. Meanwhile I had no discomfort (apart from my legs telling me they wished I'd done more training!) A bike fit with Adrian isn't just a bike fit. As well as getting your set up sorted it's a great opportunity to draw on his experience and expertise with training and event preparation. An experience I would recommend without hesitation.&qu
